"I couldn't say it," Danaya said upon returning to Darren's packhouse with Alister, walking hand in hand.
"What?" Alister asked.
"I couldn't say about the pregnancy," Danaya said and heaved a sigh. "I'm afraid of her reaction, and I don't know what she might do to herself once she knew," she added.
