Danaya sat on the couch inside Alister's office after the twins, Aiden and Jaiden, went to get her in her room.
"Uhm, where's Alister?" Danaya asked.
"Oh, he's out patrolling with Beta Theo; he'll be here in a few minutes," Aiden replied while Jaiden continued to play on his phone.
"Thank you," Danaya said. Aiden and Jaiden looked at her. "For what you did back in the castle. Thank you so much," she added, bowing her head. Aiden scratched the back of his head and looked at his twin.
"It's nothing," Aiden said.
