“Officer, I would like to report a missing person,” I said as soon as I got to the police station, I had a friend who worked there but was unfortunately not at the desk when I got to the front desk.

“My friend,” I replied adamantly.
“Okay, how long has she been missing?”
“Since this morning I don’t know where she is, I would like a team search for him since I don’t know where she is,” I said and the officer looked at me then shook his head.
“Ma’am I don’t know if you know the rules about filing a report about a missing person, it has to be at least forty-eight hours and how long has she been missing, just three hours? Have you tried calling her phone or asking around, she might have decided to go on a vacation or something.”
