Someone is shushing so, I slowly opened my eyes and I looked down to see Kristine carrying our baby like she is putting baby Lorainne to sleep.

My head is a bit painful because I overslept. I sat up to the bed slowly and I saw Kristine putting our baby to the crib carefully then, she turned to me and our eyes met.
“You're awake,” she mentioned in a low voice but enough for me to hear.
“Yeah, I am. I think, I overslept." I yawned.
“Yes, you overslept. If you're hungry, I cooked a chicken sinigang downstairs. It's a Filipino dish. Go and have some downstairs. I'll sleep now."
