*IRIS* I blinked twice as my eyelids parted, to welcome myself to the new essence around me. I must have slept off while thinking hard about my life. That must have been the reason why I had forgotten all about the new room I was moved to. As I looked around, I noticed that the room was polished and adorned with my favourite colour, purple. The walls were a gentle lavender shade, and the curtains and bedspread were a deeper, richer royal purple. The bed itself was the highlight of the room, shaped like a heart with a soft, velvet headboard, and matching bedding. As I gazed upwards, I noticed the ceiling was painted in a lighter shade of purple, covered in butterfly stickers that I was sure were going to glow brightly in the dark. It was an enchanting touch.
