I worked quickly to get the net untangled from her tail fin. But I was struggling to keep myself afloat while untangling her.
"Please, just go under, and I will hold my tail down so you can get it undone." I nodded, thinking it was a good idea. I wouldn't have to worry about keeping myself afloat if I was under. So, I took a deep breath and sank down, mesmerized by how her tail glistened even in the water. I pulled the last bit of the net away from her tail, and a childlike joy erupted in my chest when her tail fin unfurled, revealing a gorgeous mix of pinks and blues. I rose to the surface, and before I could pay her a compliment on her beauty. Her beauty turned putrid.
