Rowan: I woke up in the attic of the castle. Saint was lying between my legs, using my stomach as a pillow. Bain and Gatling were on either side, and as badly as I hated to wake them, I needed to tell them… they needed to know about her, about the darkness given to me by my mother's dark magic. “Guys… wake up,” I grumbled, nudging them softly. “What is it? What’s wrong?” Bain shot upright like a bat out of h.e.l.l, scoping the room out. “Nothing like that, sweet boy. I just… we need to talk now.” Now that I wasn’t so exhausted, I could tell them what I knew. The dark part of me awakened by my marking is convinced she knows where to find the center of magic.
