Emery had one thought in mind. To confront his dad and get some answers from the old man, as he drove to his house,  driving at full speed, not caring if he passed some speed limits or not.       He just wanted to know what his parents did to Jackson that made him turn into the vicious monster he is now, hell-bent on killing his mate to get to him.       He was shocked when he heard the words come out of his mate's mouth, especially the part where he said he didn't love him, and that he wanted to keep him stuck with him forever so he could establish his punishment on him.       As he approached the home he grew up in, he increased the speed of the car, leaving some dust in the air as the werewolves passing by held their nose and closed their mouth so they wouldn’t inhale the dust.
