I should have known for a moment that we were being followed but I was too focused on Sam and all my concentration was on him to even notice people were right behind us and when I finally realized it, it was too late, I felt something hard on my head.
When I woke up in my pool of blood, Sam was gone and was nowhere to be found and people were staring at me.
“Dude, are you okay?” asked someone and I nodded my head.
