I did not expect my parents to show up in the estate. So I am so surprised to see them. As usual dad was weary, but I never expected mom to grow a liking towards Marie.
Right before dinner, dad called me to his study.
"Why is she here?" Dad asked me.
"I am simply helping her dad." I answered.
"Helping her? Why? Why would you help a stranger Alexander? It's so unlike you."
I sighed.
"She was Nathan's ex."
Dad arched his eyebrow at me.
"So she's that girl? "
Dad scoffed.
"Stupid wuss. Can't even stand for himself. He left that girl for a plastic barbie doll." Dad said.
"They loved each other." I said.
"Then why didn't he fought for her?"
"Aunt Natalia happened."
Dad groaned.
"That witch again. What did she do this time?"
"A lot."
