Alpha Ivan’s POV “Here, it may be 10am but something tells me you need this,” Denis says as he hands me the glass of scotch. I take it from him and lean back in the chair as I stare out of the window blankly. The last few hours have taken their toll. I’ve gone from feeling on top of the world to feeling like s**t once again. It didn’t take long for my past to rear its ugly head again, quickly destroying the one piece of happiness that I had inside of me. It suddenly occurs to me that this is the way it is always going to be. The past never stays there for long. No matter how much I try to ignore it or outrun it, it will always find me. It will eat away at me and fester until I finally snap and go f*****g insane. It’s not a life that anyone should have to partake in. I
