Eden's POV “Trouble sleeping?" Carol perches on one of the chairs at the dining room table while I have my legs kicked up on the bench, pressed to the bay window that overlooks the river. I can see her through the reflection of the window, adjusting her silk robe and folding her well-manicured hands out before her. “Yeah," I admit, though everyone knows it already. “Just got tired of lying there, I guess." “That's understandable," Carol hums. “How about I make some tea and we talk?"
