Chapter Forty-Eight Erik and Jia strolled down the hallway toward Sukorn’s apartment. It was on the fifth floor of a ten-story building. The neighborhood was a pleasant enough area, with a park and the ubiquitous spidery trees of Unity City nearby. An occasional smiling child wandered into the park, but Emma’s drones spotted no obvious gangsters or spies. Not only that, every suit in the area was conspicuously bland in its color choice.
