“How can I help you Alpha?” she said trying to sound stern.
I was standing in my office ready to face my fears, watching Nina facial expressions as I spoke. “I need to talk to you about that night and before that night. I need to explain everything to you. Would you please sit and listen to me? I’m begging you.” I could hear my own desperation in my voice, but she still shook her head yes.
“I actually need to talk to you too. About… Us.” My heart began to tighten.
