Nina POV
After Max tried to clear things up with me, I felt better. It was still strange to hear him say those sweet things because it was hard to believe them. But, the hard truth is that I feel strong when I am near him. I feel like there is more to come. Charlie helped me up the stairs, where he begged me to eat my food which I did because I was starving.
"Well, look who was actually hungry." Charlie teased.
"I may not look it, but I still have my pride." I joked around, speaking like a queen.
