I woke up to the sound of birds playing outside the window. The fluttering of their wings sounded so serene, and the songs they hummed playfully made me chuckle. "I guess I'm not the only one waking up in a good mood," I thought. Before opening my eyes, I took a moment to appreciate the sounds I'd always known before I was granted sight. However, with one deep breath from Max, everything was blocked out. As he inhaled, my body ascended and descended with his exhale. I hadn't realized I was still lying on top of him while he was still inside me. A smile crept onto my face as I nuzzled into his chest.
