Two more months until the end of the school term. I contemplated hard and decided that I will finish and pass each subject. Next term, though, I will only enroll in a few subjects. I knew I’m being childish. Just tide over this difficult time and that would be a win for me. I exhaled. These days Cara has been messaging me. I knew Oliver must have told her to accompany me to go out a couple of times a week. I almost always decline her because I have too many schoolwork to complete, but knowing Oliver, I find time to accommodate her. Once or twice, we went shopping and I had fun choosing shirts for Oliver. The type to wear at home, with silly characters and statements. Just imagining him wearing them makes me smile and hold in my laugh. He was accommodating enough, wearing them as soon as I gave him the shirts. At that point, I always laugh out loud. He simply smiles as he watches me. He wore them when we go out on dates as well. He looked casual enough. You won’t find a trace of him being a businessman. He changes out of his standard expressions as well. He was playful, not at all serious. We could be really silly. In a way, it takes away the stress of studying. When I raised the subject of him being stressed at work, he only responded by saying he’s used to it already. It was then that I knew I would get used to stress as well. As soon as the term ended, I went to Oliver’s house and bought a lot of cooking supplies. His driver pretty much drive me around wherever I need to go. I tried baking a cake as well. I was watching cooking recipe videos. The cake was a disaster. In the end, I opted for the dishes I have made well in the past, especially what Oliver and I liked. For dessert, I made coffee jelly. Come to think of it, do we even like coffee? I personally don’t.
