I run as fast as I can because my life depends on it.
I can hear when the Lycan comes back through the window though I have already put a lot of distance between me and it.
I soon find out that it is not enough. He is right behind me again. I run past my room which gives me a bit of relief because that means that I am close to the stairs and soon I see them but before I can get to them, the Lycan speeds in front of me and jumps over the rail and onto the stairs that are illuminated by the candles that were put up at the bottom. I stop abruptly as it turns to me. I suddenly see a few of the teachers coming to check the commotion from the bottom of the stair but the moment they see the Lycan, they all slowly back away.
