Had I killed someone? My stomach coiled in response, and I stumbled my way up the stairs to the bathroom, crashing on the floor, reaching for the toilet bowl as I heaved. Nothing came out, my stomach empty, but it still sucked. I breathed in and out, concentrating on keeping them even when the shadows appeared, dark and thunderous.
