“So what about your boss?” Lydia questioned, pushing her eyeliner inside her purse along with her lip gloss.
“What about him?” I stuffed my mouth with pancakes the following morning during breakfast. Usually, I’d be awake by five twenty a.m. so I could prepare adequately for work but I must have been really exhausted from yesterday’s ordeal and so I found myself waking up at six.
