Nolan’s P.O.V
We were out on our “double date” Justin has booked us into some fancy New York restaurant that one of his friends co-owns, and apparently we would be getting a discount, and just as well because the place was expensive. Yes, Maya never wanted to do this, but she seemed to be enjoying herself. I guess if to her we are just out as friends, it will be like every other time before. I honestly don’t know why I got as mad at her when she said she never wanted to go on this date. It isn’t like I want us to start dating or anything, right? I don’t have some sort of underlying feeling for her, right? We are just best friends with some added benefits, well, that is what I am going to keep telling myself anyway.
“I am so glad you two decided to come,” Char said excitedly.
