Nolan’s P.O.V I was a nervous wreck. I have been for the last two days. Today could change everything! Could? No more like it will change everything. I had been up since six a.m. making sure everything was perfect. Maya was still sound asleep in bed. That was where I needed her to be. I plated the pancakes up, placing them on the tray with a side of fruit, next to the coffee and fruit juice. I have made enough for two. I double-checked I had the one other thing I needed, and thankfully I did. I was trying to steady my shaky hands as I headed to the bedroom. I took a few deep breaths too. Maya was curled up, under the duvet, snoring lightly and I chuckled. She has convinced herself she doesn’t snore, and I just let her believe that. I sat the tray on the bedside unit. I gently rem
