Chapter 22In his hotel room, Harris stood in the open doors of the balcony, looking out at the Champ-de-Mars. Mineau had booked each of them a classical room at the Ares Hotel, a place world-renowned for its baroque settings and luxurious salons. Harris’s room was furnished impeccably and draped in ravishing shades of gold and red. He wandered around the room, drink in hand, still clad in his three-piece suit, like a lost child in a strange home.
