I had been made well aware of the fact that Zoey had more than one fated mate, but I didn’t really expect her to find him. Nor did I expect to find myself attracted to him the second my eyes landed on the handsome guy. But that is exactly what happened when we all least expected it.
It wasn’t what I wanted for Zoey and I, but I couldn’t and wouldn’t stop Zoey from being with her other mate if that is what she wants. It wouldn’t be right of me to do so. Especially after all the bullshit I put her through.
All I could do was watch the scene unfold and hope I didn’t lose my mate when all was said and done. I wouldn’t just roll over and give up, but I had to remain calm and respectful of whatever choice Zoey makes.
