I remained hidden in the cave for an unknown amount of time, pondering my next move. If I left the shadows of the cave, it would be easier for Jack to find me, but staying wasn’t the smart option either.
The problem was… I had no clue how to get back to the Eagle Moon Pack’s territory. If I could make it back there, I could ask Bethany to take me to Zane.
Zane… he was my one and only hope of finding true happiness. I wrecked his entire world, and I didn’t deserve his love, but that’s all I wanted at that point.
Once I decided I had no other choice but to find my way there, I left the cave in the middle of the night. I thought for sure, it would be the safest time for me to leave the safety of the cave, but I couldn’t have been more wrong.
