I could hear Nathan and Winona in her bedroom, so I made it a point to stay in the living room when I got out of the shower. I waited so long for them to finish that I ended up falling asleep on the couch.
At one point, I was awakened by what I thought was a bee or wasp stinging me, but I didn’t see or hear one. However, I noticed right away that something didn’t feel right. I felt especially groggy, and I didn’t have the strength to hold my eyelids open for more than a few seconds before I slipped back into a state of unconsciousness.
I don’t know how long I was out of it, but when I woke up the next time, I had a hard time willing my eyelids to open. They felt abnormally heavy, and I felt dizzy beyond reason.
