Irene catches up with me as I walk to the cafeteria. This is where my every morning seems to start. I either have to order their coffee or milkshake. It’s the best.
“You look so happy cousin. What’s up?” She asks grinning.
She is always grinning and I wonder what is funny in her question. I didn’t call her last night so she doesn’t know anything about my yesterday’s date with Matt. I ended talking to Matt almost the whole night and I couldn’t call her because it was late.
“Let me make my order first then will tell you everything.” I say smiling as we join the queue on the counter.
The place is crowded today. Unlike the other days. I look around for the sign of Matt but he is not here. I miss him a lot though it was just yesterday.
