As soon as Emily and Teagan ran toward the river inlet, I stood up with Tamara in my arms, then I carried her to our special area of the waterfall. I took her to the area with the most shade, then I sat down on a large boulder with Tamara on my lap.
Right away, she repositioned herself so she was straddling my lap, then she gazed into my eyes and boldly stated, "There is no getting rid of me now that I'm a member of your pack."
"I could never want to get rid of you," I adamantly responded with nothing but honesty.
