We stayed at the party longer than either of us had anticipated, but I didn't mind. I was having a blast with Dane and my family.
Unfortunately, I started experiencing a dull pain in my lower abdomen. I ignored it at first in hopes that it would just go away, but that was not the case. Instead, the pain started to worsen little by little, until out of nowhere my water burst throwing me into full labor.
Right away, I grasped ahold of Dane's arm and squeezed it as a sharp pain nearly made me double over. As soon as the pain eased, I quickly informed him, "Dane, it's time! They're coming a week early!"
His eyes instantly went wide, then he scooped me up in his arms like it was nothing and sprinted toward the castle. Meanwhile, I mind linked my parents, Dr. Ell
