CYRUS WAS HOLDING HIS lover's hand tightly, almost as if he's afraid that he'll disappear if he lets go of him. Elliot knew that the man sitting beside him was anxious, so he lifts their hands up and kisses the back of Cyrus's hand to ease him.
"You nervous?" Elliot asks.
Cyrus's parks the car on the side of the road, and then he looks back at Elliot and says, "You said your mother's here."
Elliot stares at Cyrus for a second before laughing, "Of course she's here. Didn't I already tell you before? I grew up here."
"When you said you'll take me away, I thought you just said it at the spur of the moment. I didn't know you'd take it seriously." Cyrus says, and Elliot heads out of the car and opens the door for Cyrus before asking back, "When did I ever lie?"
