SELENE’S POV
My day at work was everything that I had expected it to be, I was sure that it was pretty clear to everyone that I worked with including the manager that I didn’t want to be there. I had to force myself to be there because I didn’t want to disappoint Jennifer after she went out of her way to get m this job, but I could see that my very presence was a disappointment to her due to my attitude and lack of interest. The hardest thing about my day was having to pretend as if I enjoyed being here and loved what I was doing when that wasn’t the case.
