SELENE’S POV
I slowly walked toward my room while trying and failing dismally to shake the fear that I was feeling off me. All kinds of thoughts and imaginations were running through my mind as to what would happen once I opened my bedroom door which I noticed as I got closer that it was slightly opened. as I slowly pushed the door open I started realizing the stupidity in me going through this apartment on my own when it was clear that the intruder was still in here, however it was too late for me to come back to my senses now because he probably knew that I was here by now. I referred to him as 'he' because in my mind it only made sense that a man would break into our apartment and wreck it the way it had been wrecked.
