SELENE’S POV
It had been a few months since Jeniffer rescued me from the guys that had tried to attack me at the dark alley. I didn’t even want to imagine what they would have done to me if she had not come along. Despite the fact that she had taken me in and helped me get a job, I still didn’t remember who I was and I still didn’t know where I came from. But Jennifer had been so kind to me to the extent that I stopped feeling like an outsider and I stopped searching for answers that I was possibly never going to get.
