SELENE’S POV
In my entire life, I don’t think I had ever experienced anything more awkward than Alexis sitting here and watching while I worked. It would have been better if he was just sitting there and minding his own business or even eating but he had ordered water, of all the tasty things he could have ordered he ordered water which if I may add he hadn’t taken a sip of. He was literally following my every move with his eyes while occasionally giving Christ the stink eye.
It was as if he was watching me in order to see who I spoke to and how they spoke to me and he seemed to be particularly interested every time I spoke to Chris, I could see by the way he was acting that he was sharpening his wolf ears so that he could hear what we were talking about.
