My conversation with Calisto had been very enlightening, not only did he tell me that Selene had been lied to just as I had been but he also told me that she was my intended mate. It just goes to show that her mother was very conniving and manipulative and she was willing to do anything to keep us together.
At first, I couldn’t quite understand why Selene even believed that I would abandon her and our unborn baby but then when I thought about it even deeper I realized that the reason she had probably chosen to follow me here was that she had not believed anything that her mother told her. However, I couldn’t undo the past and neither could she, I was willing to accept things the way they were and move on with my life with Bianca.
