SELENE’S POV
“What the f**k happened? Why does this place look like this? Did we get robbed?” Jennifer asked me a series of questions that I had no idea how to respond to
“No, we didn’t get robbed,” I said as I slowly sat on the couch while trying to come up with a perfect explanation of what Jennifer was looking at. I was relieved that she had arrived when I was done fixing some of the mess that I had made because if she had seen the mess that Calisto had caused when he came through the portal she would have definitely killed me.
“Who is this guy then?” she asked me as she pointed at Calisto who looked fascinated by Jennifer and I was sure that had a lot to do with the fact that she was human.
“This is Calisto, he is my brother” I lied and that was the only thing that I could think of
