Chapter Sixty Nine – The Visit
Kermit stood outside the large blue gates of Durham Prison, taking a deep breath to steady himself he walked through following behind the other friends and families of those who were residing behind the stone walls. Reaching the security guard, he emptied his pockets and placed his phone wallet and keys into the black tray before stepping through the walk through metal detector, then ushered to one side with his arms stretched out as the guard proceeded to scan him with a wand, then pat him down.
“You can pick your stuff up when you leave, here is your number” the guard spoke then continued to check the other visitors behind Kermit.
Taking his number which was 13 Kermit was unsure if that was a bad omen or not, but given he was not a superstitious ma
