Kyla sat on the sofa, feeling peaceful that she had finally decided that to sell her house was the best decision for her, what was once her escape, had been holding her back. Her future was not in the village, surrounded by her past, she had finally let go of that, and her future was with Kermit, somewhere else where they could make a life together. Woof had sacrificed so much so that they could have their own happy ending, and she felt more determined than ever to find that.
“Hey Missy, want some of my contraband” Kermit smiled as he entered the lounge from the kitchen.
Kyla laughed when she saw a big tub of Ben and Jerry’s with two spoons and a mug of hot chocolate.
“Would love to” Kyla grinned
