Everything was burning around us. Even after we had made sure that the pack was completely safe, they somehow found a way to sneak in and now, they had done what we had been fearing the most. I was somewhat grateful that Dossam wasn’t in the pack when they chose to attack.
They were only a handful when they broke in but as we went to fight them, we realized that they had around fifty or so vampires. We were somewhat anxious because they were many compared to only five of us. There were pack warriors who fought along with us but still, it had become somewhat hard for us to keep up with them.
To stop them from taking over, we had to set the place around the packhouses on fire. It kept them away but the damage had been already done. People were dead and some had been taken away.
