I don't know how long we stood there on the bridge but it felt like forever. I don't know what he had been thinking. We have a lot of things to sort between us. We need to talk but for now, I let him hold me.
We run some more before I start heading towards the packhouse but he has other plans. He wraps his arms around my waist and rather directs me towards the guest house where he is living currently. I try to growl at him but the severity that buzzed in the air around us told me that he is very reluctant to let me go.
The arm around my waist ends up tightening more whenever I try to move so I just give in and let him take me to his room. I huff in annoyance as he carries me upstairs and into his room. I am let down once I am in his room.
