I took my phone to call Frank, puzzled as to why his car was there but not him.
"Sorry, I had to stay a bit longer in a meeting with my manager in Germany," he explained as soon as he answered. "I was on my way, but I left my car in case you needed it."
"Thanks, they've closed the bar and I just left. Please apologize to your friends for me; I left without saying goodbye," I said, glancing at the streets.
"It's alright, they'll understand. Are you heading home?"
"I was, but I just saw a Mexican restaurant that's still open. I like nachos," I explained, and Frank laughed. The driver looked at me, and I nodded. In a second, we were turning back.
"Send me the restaurant's location. I'll be there in a few minutes," he said before we ended the call.
