Gideon’s Point of View:
INSTEAD of waiting until Valerie’s friends go home, I decided to go home to settle everything with Rianne. Pinauwi na ako ni Valerie dahil nakita raw ng mga kaibigan niya ang conversations namin sa phone which is fine with me. I know that they are good friends of Valerie and they won’t do something that will hurt her feelings.
Nang makarating ako sa bahay, saktong naabutan ko si Rianne na nakaupo sa may sala habang umiinom ng champagne. Kaharap niya ay ang lamesa at sa ibabaw no’n ang annulment paper naming dalawa.
“You’re home, finally!” She greeted me and then stood up to kiss me but I stopped her. Kung noon ay pinababayaan ko lang siyang halikan ako, ngayon hindi na. It disgusted me every time we kiss. “Ouch! Ang sakit naman.”
