Two hours before I had to get ready for the party, Hiro asked to speak with me outside. At first, I hesitated because of the weird pull, but after a minute, decided to join him. The whole walk to the pond was quiet and for some reason I was nervous. Suddenly he stopped in front of me forcing me to almost run into him, “sorry,” I said, not meeting his gaze. “It’s my fault, I stopped too soon,” he said, as if it were a metaphor for something deeper.
