“I like the sound of that,” I said, just as my communicator that the king had given me rang. The communicator was their version of a phone. Only it could do a lot more than the average phone. They even had their own social media outlet that I chose to stay away from. Hana, however, loved it. It was the closest thing to home that she could find. “One second.” I picked up my communicator off the ground, then answered it and a hologram of my mother appeared. “Hi Mom,” I said as I moved away from Malik.
“Where are you? The party starts in two hours, and you’re not here yet,” my mother said.
“I am on my way. I will be there in ten, maybe sooner,” I said.
“OK good. See you when you get here, and you did get a present for both twins right, not just Hana,” my mother asked, like I knew she would
