“When I came to, I was in what appeared to be a dark room with metal bars in front of me. The only light was coming from the fire right outside the cage and there were three guards wearing masks standing on the other side of the bars. As I reached for the bars, I felt someone touch my shoulder and to my surprise, it was Destiny. “Oh my God,” I said, as I threw my arms around her, enveloping her in a hug.
“Kayla, are you ok?” Destiny asked, her voice filled with worry.
“Besides my head I’m fine," I asked as I looked around. There were about a dozen or so other girls in the same cage as me including Melina all of whom had been reported missing in the past few days.
