I woke up bright and early and saw my adopted mother standing by my bed with Hana, “Mom what are you two doing here so early?” I asked, confused.
“I just wanted to check on you. Are you ok?” my adopted mother asked.
“She told you, didn’t she?” I asked, referring to my birth mother.
“Yes, she told me. Are you crazy?” My adopted mother asked, raising her voice at the end.
I rose to a seated position and looked at the woman who raised me, “Mom I had to. You didn’t see his face. I’ve never seen the king like that before and neither have his sons, so if he wants me to go back to being a baby, then I’ll do it,” I said, meaning every word.
