When I get back to the packhouse the twins were waiting for me at the backdoor and they looked at Daniel like he was the enemy.
Axel immediately grabbed my hand and Atticus rested his hand on my back to guide me back inside and we started walking through the packhouse.
“You need to be careful of Daniel. He’s not what you think he is.” Atticus said.
“I think he’s exactly what I think he is.” I said.
“What did he say to you?” Atticus asked.
“He’s always talking in cryptic f*****g messages. Telling me to be careful. Telling me about old stories of the pack.” I said.
“Old stories?” Axel asked confused.
“Yeah. Like he’s afraid that I am some sort of prophecy or something.” I said and both of the twins stopped walking.
