For the first time I was sitting between the guys on the couch and I was actually relaxed. I felt relaxed and the guys could feel it to. I felt them relax the more I did.
Maybe this cabin escape wasn’t such a bad idea afterall.
“We’re not going to let anything happen to you, you know that.” Atticus said, wrapping his arm around my shoulders and pulling me closer to him so my head was resting on his shoulder.
“I know. I just wish you didn’t have to sneak me away like that because of something that isn’t your fault.” I said.
“It’s not your fault either. And whatever has happened, you’re our mate and we’re not letting anything happen to you.” Atticus said.
“Yeah. I know that.” I said.
“So, you can stop thinking about disappearing on your own.” Axel said. So I looked at him.
