“How much longer is this going to TAKE!” I screamed the last word as another contraction wrecked my body, sending waves of unimaginable pain to my mind.
“Just a bit more Luna, try to relax” Loren, my nurse, said, making me see red.
“Tell me to relax one more time and I'll rip you to shreds!” I growled lowly, feeling my fingers frost over.
“It's okay baby, I'm here, focus on me. You're doing great” Damien tried to quell my anger, his hand rubbing up and down my back.
I felt my mind lose itself in the intense heaviness on my lower back, sparking a flame of rage within me.
“Oh shut up. And get your hands off of me! This is all your fault!” I exploded at him, but a whine slipped from my lips the moment his hands left my body, lifted up in surrender.
