Valentina simply took William back to the villa, where a doctor could administer medication and re-dress her wounds. It was also an opportunity for her to change her clothes.
The wound that had just started healing gaped open again. William quietly pondered for a moment.
He asked, somewhat perplexed. "Why did you go to play basketball?"
She knew well that her arm's injury had only just started healing, and she shouldn't have exerted herself.
Valentina smiled. "It was a friendly match with a neighboring university. As a student of Biddeford University, it was my duty to bring honor to my university." She tried to flippantly change the subject.
William was speechless.
He suspected that it was probably because of Gabriel.
